Terms

Pilot Terms of Use & Confidentiality

Version 1.0 · RxScriptify Inc. · These are the terms shown and accepted inside the DrScriptify app (“the Service”).

1. Pilot software

The Service is provided as early-access, pre-release software and may change or contain errors.

2. What the Service is

The Service helps licensed prescribers send, receive, and respond to prescriptions and related documents. It is not a medical record (items auto-delete after approximately 30 days — keep your own records), and it does not provide medical advice or replace your professional judgment.

3. Eligibility and responsibility

You are a licensed, authorized prescriber in good standing, and you will use the Service in compliance with applicable law and your professional and privacy obligations, including PHIPA and PIPEDA. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your device and credentials secure.

4. Accuracy is yours

You are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and clinical appropriateness of everything you send. Before any document is transmitted, the Service shows you its complete content for review, and we are not obligated to verify what you enter or confirm.

5. Your electronic signature

When you confirm a transmission using Face ID or similar biometric authentication, that confirmation is your electronic signature on, and your authorization of, that specific document. By providing it, you attest that you reviewed the full content and accept professional responsibility for it. You consent to the use of electronic signatures, which have the same effect as handwritten ones to the fullest extent the law allows.

6. Automated suggestions

The Service may use AI to suggest information from incoming documents. Suggestions are aids only, are marked as such, are never sent without your review, and must be independently verified before you rely on them.

7. Patient information

You confirm you have the authority and any necessary consent to input and transmit patient information. We process it only to provide the Service, acting as a conduit on your behalf; you remain responsible for its lawful handling under health-privacy law.

8. Confidentiality and ownership

The Service, and all non-public information about it — including its concepts, designs, and features — are confidential. You will not disclose this information to any third party, or use it for any purpose other than your own use of the Service, without our written consent, and you will not use it to develop or assist in developing a competing product. The Service and all related intellectual property belong to RxScriptify Inc., and any ideas or feedback you provide become our property. This obligation continues after you stop using the Service.

9. No warranty; liability; indemnity

The Service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, RxScriptify is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages or for losses arising from clinical decisions, the content you entered or confirmed, or your use of the Service, and you agree to cover claims arising from your use, your content, your clinical decisions, or your breach of these terms. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. General

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, and the courts of Ontario have jurisdiction. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. We may update these terms and ask you to accept the new version. We keep a record of your acceptance, including your identity, the date and time, and the version.

By tapping “I Agree” in the app, you confirm you have read and accepted these terms. Questions: contact@rxscriptify.com
